Habitat could not exist without the generous support of our volunteers. The success of Habitat, and the degree to which we have an impact on the community, largely depend on donations of time.

Each Habitat home takes more than 13,000 man-hours to complete. Bolstered by the efforts of thousands of gracious volunteers in the past, we have completed 108 homes since 1986. We have jobs for people of all ages and experience levels on the work sites, and every pair of hands makes the load lighter.

Alachua Habitat offers a multitude of annual and semi-annual events to get involved on and off the worksite including: Women Build, A Brush with Kindness, Critical Home Repair, the International Day of Prayer and our annual fall Signature Event.

We also encourage you to consider Saturday builds as a fun opportunity to promote teamwork throughout your organization, group or family in a unique way.
